Pr. Jamal CHAOUKI

Polytechnic Montréal, Canada

Prof. Jamal CHAOUKI is a full professor at Polytechnic, Montréal, Canada. He is also the director of the Biorefinery Center and a member of the Canadian Academy of Engineering. He has co-chaired 10 International Conferences including the 8th World Congress of Chemical Engineering 2009, where he has acted as technical director. He is also a member of the 10th World CChE 2017, and he was the president of the Fluidization 15th Int. Conf. He has supervised more than 120 researchers. He published more than 400 reviewed articles in refereed journals and in different reviewed proceedings, and more than 450 other scientific articles as well as edited 6 books. He has more than 22 patents on different processes. He is now editor of the Chemical Product and Process Modeling Journal. He is a member of the Board of the Ecole Polytechnique and several companies. He is a world-renowned consultant for at least 20 national and international companiesHe is Principal Chair Holder of NSREC-Total Group in hydrodynamic modeling of multiphase processes at extreme conditions. His work is mainly dedicated to develop processes from waste, biomass and complex feedstocks to heat & power, fuels and chemicals.

Pr. Edvina LAMY 

 University of Technology of Compiègne , France

Prof. Edvina LAMY is a full professor at the University of Technology of Compiègne (France) and she is actually the head of Chemical Engineering Department. Her main area of expertise surrounds hydrodynamic and mass transport in porous media, water treatment and remediation techniques of contaminated soils. Her research interests include also fate and transport of contaminants and (bio)-colloid transport in subsurface soils. She is the coordinator of a "WATER" thematic cluster, which aims at developing voluntary cooperation between companies, academics and local authorities in order to develop a skill network focused on research and innovation in the "Water" area: economy, reuse and adaptation to climate changes.

Pr. Rachid BENHIDA 

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Benguerir, Morocco

Prof. Rachid BENHIDA is currently CNRS research director, University Nice Sophia Antipolis, and adjunct Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University UM6P, Morocco. at CBS department - Chemical & Biochemical Sciences. Green Process Engineering. He is the founder and the current director of the GreenPhos International joint Laboratory, Co-director of the ICN institute (2008-2016). He is the PI of several national and international grants and member of international scientific organizations including the French-Japanese Chemical Society (deputy President), American Chemical Society, Chimie sans Frontières, expert for national and international institutions ANR, HCERES, ERC, ICCBS, ISF, etc. He is referee and member of Editorial Board of several chemistry journals. Co-author of more than 160 publications, book chapters, 20 patents including 12 licenses. He is the co-founder and the current President of the Moroccan Society of Chemistry and a permanent member of the French National Academy of Pharmacy. His current research interests focus on green and sustainable chemistry including organic, inorganic chemistry and chemical biology as well as their applications in fine-chemical industry and biomedical sciences.

Prof. Gassan HODAIFA (H-Index 24 in Web of Science) is Food Engineer (Univ. De Albaath, Syria), Chemical Engineer (Univ. Of Granada) and Dr. by University of Jaén in Doctoral Program: Biotechnology and Agri-Food Engineering. Currently, he is a Full Professor in the University of Pablo de Olavide in Chemical Engineering Area..As a result of his research work 64 articles published, 55 articles published in JCR (30 in Q1, 18 in Q2, and 7 in Q3). Of these articles, more than 10 articles have been published with collaboration with authors from different countries on all continents. Total articles in Open Access Journals 6), 4 Articles in Journals with impact factor different from JCR, and 5 other articles in outreach magazines to society. 2 patents for water purification of olive oil mill wastewater, 2 books, 46 book chapters in prestigious publishers such as Academic Press (Elsevier), CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group, Springer International Publishing AG etc. He published as Editor in Chief two Special Issues in J. Chemistry and Catalysts both from JCR. He has participated in 125 Congresses 110 of them have international character and 29 International Oral Conferences (1 as invite Keynote Speech). Currently is Editor in Catalysts and Heliyon Journal. It has designed, installed, and automated an industrial pilot plant for wastewater treatment of olive oil mills (3-5 m3/h). He has supervised 5 Doctoral Theses 4 defended with international mention. He has been co-director of 2 memories of Initiation to Research (DEA), has directed 21 master's degree projects, 5 final projects and 7 final degree projects and acts as a reviewer for more than 100 JCR journals such as App. Energy, J. Cleaner Prod. etc. Evaluator of European Projects and fellowship (as MSCA-PF for different years). He participates as Evaluator of many nationals’ projects. 

Dahhan

Pr. Muthanna AL-DAHHAN

 Missouri University, United Satates

Prof. Muthanna AL-DAHHAN is the University of Missouri System Curators’ Distinguished Professor of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering and of Nuclear Engineering at the Missouri Univ. of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T), United States (The Highest Academic Rank in University of Missouri System), and the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) Distinguished Professor. He is the former chair of the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering (January 2009 – June 2019), an AIChE Fellow, and ABET Program Evaluator. Professor Al-Dahhan was UNESCO expert on quality assurance of engineering and science education from 2010-1016. He has developed state-of-the-art Multiphase Flow and Reactors Engineering and Education Laboratory (mFReel), which is unique in USA and in the world and can be considered a global resource. He has published more than 300 peer-reviewed articles and given 52 plenary and keynote lectures, 155 invited talks, and 495 conference presentations. He has served as a consultant and expert for various domestic and international organizations. Al-Dahhan received a BS with honors from the Univ. of Baghdad, Iraq, an MS from Oregon State Univ., and a DSc from Washington Univ. in St. Louis, all in chemical engineering. Professor Al-Dahhan's cutting-edge research expertise is concentrated on multiscale experimentation, modeling and computing of multiphase reactors and multiphase flow engineering and applications that integrates hydrodynamics, and heat and mass transfer (transport phenomena) and reactions in addressing and advancing numerous topics, industrial processes, and emerging subjects and technologies related to chemical and petroleum industries, clean and alternative energy and chemicals, bioenergy, thermal hydraulics of the 4th generation, small modular and current nuclear reactors and their nuclear fuels, environmental applications, nanofluids for enhanced heat and mass transfer, and wastewater, groundwater, water and solvent treatment and reuse.
